Charlene Dignam – owner/operator
Charlene has been the owner/operator of Kindertots
Children’s Centre since 2000, owner/operator of Kindertots After School Program since 2008, and owner/operator of Kindertots
After School Too since 2009.
Kindertots delivers the highest quality of educational care for children ages newborn
to 12 years within three different centres. Along with 19 Early Childhood Educators, Charlene works hard every day to
ensure that their clients receive unsurpassed service with safety, equipment, program structure, learning opportunities and
child development and the highest quality of non-parental care for children.
Charlene received her Early Childhood
Education Certificate in 2006 and completed her New Brunswick Curriculum Framework training in 2009. Charlene also has
her training in the School’s Cool Program, which focuses on School Readiness Skills for children 3 & 4 years of
age, Zoo Phonics Program, a method of teaching children letter sounds, several workshops including Health and Wellness, Food
Safety and Sanitation, Child Development, Curriculum Planning, Autism & PDD, Language and Literacy, First Aid & CPR,
Creating an Effective After School Environment and Speech Language Methods.
Charlene believes in Kindertots being
a strong part of the community. We encourage our educators and children to become involved within our community, helping
and supporting local projects, such as Soldier Shoe Box Project, Breast Cancer Awareness, Christmas Food Hampers, Relay for
Life, Winter Giving Tree, Food Bank, IWK, and Christmas Family Adoption and Steps for MS. Instilling a sense of community
in our children gives them a sense of belonging and a sense of self worth.

Cheryl Spray – Director/ Early Childhood Educator
Cheryl
has been Director of Kindertots Children's Centre Inc. since March 2005 with previously being Director of Kindertots After
School Program and Assistant Director since 2000. Cheryl has been with Kindertots Children's Centre Inc. for11 years
and has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for the past 14 years. Cheryl received her Early Childhood
Education Diploma from NBCC Saint John. She has also received her teaching certification for the School’s Cool
Program, which focuses on Pre-School Readiness Skills for children ages 3 & 4 years. Cheryl also has participated
in several workshops and training including, Safe Food Handling, Autism & PDD, Challenging Behaviors, Health and Wellness,
DISC Training, (screening tool to assess a child’s development), Creating an Effective After School Environment, Speech
Language, Curriculum Development, ECCERS, ITTERS, Childcare Inclusions, Language and Reasoning, and Language to Literacy.
Cheryl currently teaches the Ready Set Learn Kindergarten Prep Program and sits on the Early Childhood Initiatives (ECI) Working
Group. A group dedicated to Early Childhood Education & Development and involves Professionals from all aspects
of Early Childhood Development. She is also sits on the Board for Region 7 Early Childhood Care & Education New
Brunswick and holds the position of Treasurer. Cheryl believes that a solid and secure start to life long learning gives
each child the opportunity for them to have a solid investment in their future.

Sherri
Lynn Hansen – Assistant Director
Sherri Lynn has been with Kindertots Children's Centre
Inc. for the past seven years. Sherri Lynn graduated with a diploma in Early Childhood Education from the IECEDS in
Truro, Nova Scotia and has been with us ever since. Along with being our Assistant Director, Sherri Lynn works as room
coordinator in our Toddler Program.
Sherri Lynn has participated in many workshops and training sessions
including Safe Food Handling, Health and Wellness, Language of Literacy, ECCERS, ITTERS, Autism & PDD, Powers of Play,
Challenging Behaviors, Leadership, Curriculum Development, Speech Language, First Aid & CPR. Growing up in a family
with a lot of younger children, Sherri Lynn always knew that she would enjoy working in the Early Childhood Education field.
Coming to work everyday to the children being happy because you’re there is a great feeling and knowing that each day
in some way, whether it be big or small, that she has made a difference in a child’s life is an amazing reward.
